Myrtle's story

Myrtle is available through direct adoption this means she will stay with her present owner until a suitable home can be found. Myrtle’s a very sweet cat. She likes attention, loves a lap, and a head scratch or belly rub. She doesn’t like to be picked up however, prefers to sit on your lap on her own terms! When she’s hungry in the morning she can wake you up with a little demanding nudge on the arm or back.
She loves to sleep in a sunny cosy spot in the house. She can be a bit timid in the garden, especially if there are other bold cats in the neighbourhood. But she follows us out when we’re in the garden as she likes company.
She funnily enough has never really had a strong voice, earning her the nickname ‘Mutle’ sometimes as her meow is very raspy. She’d be best suited to a fairly quiet, single cat, child-free household. Could you give this lovely girl a new loving home. Please check that you meet our adoption criteria which is own your own home which has access to a garden and is away from a main road and bus route. Have or be prepared to fit a cat flap which goes into the house from the back garden before the cat goes out. Be prepared to pay vet bills for 18+ years. Live within the wider Bristol area. Please check that you meet all the criteria then give The Moggery a ring in 0117 9243128.
Thanks.
